My Mission:

Driven by a multicultural upbringing spanning from Singapore to Houston, Texas, I am a first-generation college graduate with a profound appreciation for diverse perspectives and experiences. My mission is to infuse my works with the wisdom and guidance gained from a hard-working family, resilience forged through personal challenges, and the expansive worldview cultivated through exposure to diverse cultures, religions, and ways of life.

About Me

I was born in Singapore, and in 2002, I moved to Houston, Texas. In 2008, my family and I returned to Singapore, and lived there until 2014, when we again moved back to Houston. Following my high school graduation in 2018, I chose to attend Baylor University in Waco, Texas. As a child, I was blessed to be surrounded with a hard-working family, who imparted unto me their knowledge, wisdom, and perseverance.

I am driven by my own past failures, and the hard work I grew up around. University level education was not an easy endeavor for me. When I arrived at Baylor University, I was neither mature nor disciplined enough to be living on my own. Through many, many repeated trials and errors, I discovered my faults and worked on them to be the man I am today, and a first-generation college graduate.

I draw my inspiration from the many experiences I was fortunate to have in my youth. While living in Singapore, I was lucky to be exposed to many different cultures, religions, and ways of life. Such a diverse upbringing broadened my perspective on life, and allows me to portray this broad perspective in all my endeavors. I was blessed to be given a broad worldview, and I aim to express that in all of my works.
